How to add a new importer?
Get started with Coupler.io by adding a new importer! An importer is an integration that Coupler.io can help you create to enable data importing from one app to another or vice versa.
The 5 steps to add a new importer
- Sign in to Coupler.io
- Fill out the Title field
- Set up your data source
- Set up your data destination
- Set up an automatic data refresh
1. Sign in to Coupler.io
You may also use this link https://www.coupler.io/sign_in to open the Sign in page.
1.2. Press Add importer.

3. Set up your data source
3.1. Select an application to import your data.
3.2. Connect a data source account.
- Click CONNECT.
- Log in to the chosen app's account.
- Coupler.io will need access to view your app's data. Click Allow to grant access.
3.3. Complete other data source parameters as explained in our guides.

4. Set up your data destination
At this moment, you can use Coupler.io to import data to the following destinations:
In this article, we will explain only common destination settings. For more detailed information please follow the links above.
4.1. Connect a destination account you want to import data to.
- Pick an account you want to connect to.
- Sign in to the chosen account.
- Review the contents of access rights which you are granting to Coupler.io and press Allow.
- Confirm your choices.
- Read the Close this window message and close the pop-up.
4.2. Complete other data destination parameters as explained in our guides.
4.3. Pick the right Import mode
- Replace - fully replaces all previously imported data with the latest information available in your data source.
- Append - places your newly imported data under previously imported entries; is suitable for tracking historical data changes.
4.5. Enable Last updated column
Switch on this parameter if you want to add a column specifying the date and time of the last data refresh.
5. Set up an automatic data refresh
5.1. Set up a schedule for data refresh
Specify Interval, Days of the week, Time of the day, and Schedule time zone to run the Automatic data refresh.
