OneDrive data source
Review this guide to learn how you can set up a Microsoft OneDrive source for a number of data destinations supported by Coupler.io.
Coupler.io allows you to import data from files stored in your OneDrive or OneDrive for Business account. You can work with this file offline, however, it is required for the file to be stored on OneDrive.
The 4 steps to complete the setup
- Connect Microsoft Account
- Select a workbook and sheet(s) or CSV file to import data from
- Review optional parameters
- Set up data destination.
1. Connect Microsoft account you want to import data from
This account must have view rights to the source file. Learn how to share an Excel document on OneDrive.
- Pick an account you want to connect to.
- Sign in to the chosen account.
Note that if you are already logged in on this browser, Microsoft suggests you use your account:
- Review the contents of access rights which you are granting to Coupler.io and press Allow.
- Confirm your choice.
2. Select a Workbook & Sheets or CSV file to import data from
Select source file you want to fetch data from. Supported formats are next:
- *.xlsx
- *.xlsm
- *.csv
You can import data from one or several sheets from *. xlsx and *.xlsm files. When Coupler.io imports data from several sheets the data is being stitched together and saved to the destination sheet or table.
Select a workbook - an Excel file stored in your OneDrive or OneDrive for Business account.
Please note that your workbook should not exceed 25 MB. In case you face any difficulties with selecting a workbook please read our Excel troubleshooting article.
3. Review optional parameters (for *.xlsx and *.xlsm files)
If you add a sheet’s name that doesn’t exist yet, once it appears, Coupler.io will fetch data from it. Select the range in the sheet you want to export data from.For example:
| A1:Z9 | to import cells of this static range only | ||
| A:Z | to import all columns from A to Z and all rows that fall within this range (including any new rows that might appear in this range) | ||
| 1:1 | to import only the first line from the connected sheet |
If you've got the error "A specified worksheet/range was not found", check the spreadsheet URL/ID and the data range you specified in the respective field one more time.
4. Set up your data destination
