One active integration per month limit explained

The Free plan includes one active integration per month.

On the Free plan, you can set up 1 importer in your account, and pull data from one source app & one destination app within one month (one billing period/ cycle).

Once you successfully run the importer, your chosen source and destination type are recorded as your active integration for the current billing cycle.

When your billing cycle resets, the active source & destination limit is reset and you may set up a new integration with different source & destination types.

To pull data from a different source/ to a different destination, you have the following options:

  • wait until your active integration limit resets in your current billing period
  • start your free 7-day free trial of a paid plan
The  billing period  or  billing cycle  month starts once you create your Coupler.io account. It is not equal to the calendar month start (unless you created an account on the 1st of the month). The billing cycle resets when you upgrade to a paid plan and then your new reset date is the date of your upgrade.

Possible ways to utilize the one active integration per month limit

1. Set up an importer with one chosen source type and one destination type.

Eg: a Facebook Ads to Looker Studio importer:

2. You can have 1 importer with several selected sources of the same type and one selected destination type.

Eg: a Facebook Ads to Looker Studio importer, where you grab insights from two different Facebook Ads accounts:

Notifications about exceeding the one integration per month limit

1. If you try to set up  more than one integration, you will be able to successfully add your source and preview your data on the "Transformations" step. When you try to run it, the following error will be shown:

You have one active integration included in your free plan. Please delete other importers to run this importer or consider upgrading.

2. If you try to set up your first importer within the current billing cycle with  different source types, the following error will be shown:

You have one active integration included in your free plan. Please remove different types of sources or consider upgrading.

3.  When you've set up and successfully run your first importer within the current billing cycle, then try to add another source of a different type to your importer, the following error will be shown:

You have one active integration included in your free plan. Please remove different types of sources or consider upgrading.

4. When you've set up and successfully run your first importer within the current billing cycle, then try to change the source/ destination type to another one, the following error will be shown:

5. If you  delete the previously set up importer with a successful run, and set up a new one, the possible outcomes are:

  • If you set up a new importer with the same source type and the same destination type as in your previous importer,  you will be able to set it up and run it.
  • If you set up a new importer with a source/destination type that differs from your previous importer, the following error will be shown:
