07-12-22: TimeTonic, outgoing webhooks and other novelties

What’s new

  1. Export data from TimeTonic
  2. Automate importers' sequence with outgoing webhooks
  3. Miscellaneous updates

1. Export data from TimeTonic

You asked - we made it. TimeTonic, a no-code visual database project management platform, is now supported as a data source at Coupler.io.

This means you can export views from TimeTonic to the desired destination with just a few clicks. For this, you need to connect your TimeTonic account, then select a workspace, table, and view.

The rest of the flow is the same. By the way, if you want to merge data from multiple views or different accounts, do not forget about the data stitching feature. You can simply click Add one more source and configure the source as usual.

In the destination, you’ll get your data merged. Therefore, you won’t have to export records separately and then stitch them together by hand. Enjoy!

2. Automate importers' sequence with outgoing webhooks

Have you already used ingoing webhooks to trigger your importers? It works like a charm and allows you to make your data imports event-driven…even if this event is another importer. Yes, we’ve introduced outgoing webhooks that allow you to trigger events. This feature is available for users on Squad and Business plans. So, it makes sense to consider an upgrade if you want to use the feature but you’re still on Personal😉

The most obvious use case for this feature is a set of importers that can run in a sequence: the first importer runs the second one, which runs the third one, and so on. Here is what it may look like:

You will find the section with webhooks in the details of your importer.

3. Miscellaneous updates

Here we’ve collected other improvements recently implemented by our development team. Those include:

  • Tweaks to Hubspot and Pipedrive importers that let them run up to 30 minutes to load hundreds of thousands of rows.
  • Wizard validation for the number of used metrics added to GA4 importer. It reminds you that you can select up to 10 metrics to include in your report.
  • Account removal automation. Frankly, we’re quite upset when some of our users leave and we even switched off this possibility to make them stay 😁 It’s a joke, of course. However, we did not have the account removal process automated before. Now, you can do this with a button click in the Account Settings section.

That’s all for this product release. Stay with us and expect new awesome updates in the short run!
