The month is coming up to its end and it’s time to recap what improvements have been made. 

What’s new

New sources - Quora Ads, TikTok Ads, and TikTok Organic

In September, we released as many as three new sources. Two of them are the connectors to advertising platforms: TikTok Ads and Quora Ads.

The third new source is TikTok Organic. It allows you to fetch your profile data and video stats of your TikTok account.

Now you can better understand the performance of your advertising campaigns in TikTok and Quora, as well as track TikTok activity. 

Wizard improvements

The Coupler.io product development team has prepared a few user experience improvements. Let’s check them out in the example of setting up a Google Ads importer.

Combobox

Once you connect your Google Ads account, you need to select ad accounts from where you want to extract data. We’ve added checkboxes to the drop-down list so that it would be more convenient to make the selection. Here is what it looks like now:

Groups of reports

The next thing to do is to select a data category to export. We’ve grouped them by categories to facilitate your selection experience. Here is what it looks like now:

Preselected metrics

For marketing data sources where you need to select metrics for your report, we have introduced another improvement - preselected metrics. We’ve added default settings for the reporting period ( using macros) and a set of preselected metrics/dimensions. 

For example, if you are setting up a GA4 importer, you’ll see a set of preselected metrics and dimensions like this along with the macros for the report period.

Of course, you can add or remove metrics and dimensions but for many users, this novelty speeds up the configuration flow.

What to expect?

Truth be told, we have released way more new things but they remain behind the curtain for most of the users. For example, one more destination is on its way. And some data sources and cool features are soon to be released after some testing and verification. So, October will bring more interesting things for all Coupler.io users.
