07-06-23 Lots of improvements and Add-in for Excel
What’s new
1. Calculable columns
Some time ago we released the ability to create calculable columns. It allows you to make specific transformations of the source data before sending it to the destination. Now, this feature is available to all users and offers a bigger number of formulas you can add.
For more on this, check out our guide on how to add formula-based columns in Coupler.io.
2. LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads improvements
It’s always good to have room for improvement, and it’s even better when these improvements have been implemented. In our case, we’ve tuned up two importers: LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads. Now they are even more user-friendly than before. Here is what has been done:
LinkedIn Ads importer
- We’ve added a selector for the ad account - you won’t have to enter it manually anymore.
- We’ve added a new data entity called Report: Ad analytics. It allows you to:
- select metrics (now users can select what they want to see)
- Increase the selection range for the dimension (previously, we were limited to Creative and Campaign only). BTW, for the Campaign dimension, you will also have all campaign data available in the report.
- select of the split data value for your statistics
Google Ads importer
- We’ve added a selector for the ad account - you won’t have to enter it manually anymore.
- We’ve added a capability to select the periods to split data.
3. Excel Add-in
Coupler.io originates from a Google Sheets add-on, which is still quite popular on the Google Workspace marketplace. We do hope that our new Excel add-in will take up the lead and reach the same level of demand on the Microsoft AppSource. Of course, users who actively use Coupler.io for Excel as a destination will already love this new add-in.
That’s it for this release. We haven’t included the tiny fixes that had been implemented by our development team here and there. And we promise that in the next release notes, we will share new things for you to love Coupler.io even more!
