Columns management

Using Coupler.io you can structure your data output according to your needs:

Columns management features are applicable separately on each Source tab and also on "Preview results" tab where you can apply changes to already stitched results: 

Hide columns

When working with your data, you may find that you need to hide a column because it contains irrelevant or incorrect information, or because you want to clean your data. Hiding a column before you export it on your destination table/sheet is now made easy with Coupler.io. 

1. To hide a column, you just need to hover over the column you wish to hide and press the menu button that will appear:


2. Select "Hide Column"

You can also manage the visibility (hidden or shown) of your columns through the  Column management button:

You can choose to hide or show the columns by pressing the "eye" icon. There is also an option to hide or show all columns:

Reorder columns

If you want to group related columns together or if you just simply want to move a column to a different position to better analyze your data, you could do so by clicking on the column you wish to move and dragging it to the desired position:

This can also be managed through the Column management button. You just need to click the sort button beside the column name and drag it to the desired position:

Rename columns

Renaming columns is important in cases wherein the column names were not easily understood or when using Coupler.io's data stitching feature where column names from different sources were not matching hence, not stitching properly.

1. To rename columns, you just need to hover over the column you wish to rename and press the menu button.

2. Select "Edit Column"

3. Specify the new column name you wish to use:

4. Press "Apply".

Change column type

1. To change the column type, you just need to hover over the column you wish to edit and press the menu button.

2. Select "Edit Column"

3. Under "Column Type", select the new column type you wanted to apply to your column:

4. Click "Apply".
