28-04-23 YouTube and a new awesome feature
What’s new
1. Get your analytics data from YouTube
Truthfully, the Coupler.io product team had multiple options for the next integration to be released. However, YouTube took first place and is now available as a source to get data into your analytics report.
So, dear YouTube creators, connect your Google account, select the channel, and specify metrics, and start and end dates for your report. Optionally, you can select one or a few dimensions.
The rest of the flow you already know...well, not exactly. Coupler.io has released an awesome new feature that lets you preview and manage your data before loading it to the chosen destination. Let’s learn more about it.
2. Preview data from your source before loading it
Once you complete the source configuration, you’ll see the Preview Data button:
It’s the brand new feature to preview what your data looks like before actually loading it into the spreadsheet or table. When you click on it, Coupler.io returns a window with two tabs. The Preview results tab shows the data values.
The second tab is more actionable since it allows you to manage columns:
- Hide the columns you don’t need
- Reorder and filter columns
- Edit columns (rename the column and change column type)
Isn’t it awesome? With this feature, you can preview and transform the data to get exactly what you want into the chosen destination. So, you won’t have to first import and then manage the exported data as before.
The Preview feature is especially useful when you are combining data from multiple sources since it allows you to fix the column mapping issues right on the go.
That’s it for this release. We haven’t included the tiny fixes that had been implemented by our development team here and there. And we promise that in the next release notes, we will share new things for you to love Coupler.io even more!
