Airtable troubleshooting: the current view is shared only to a specific domain
Issue description
If access to a shared Airtable view you are importing is restricted on the Airtable side, you will receive the “Cannot access data: the current view is shared only to a specific domain." error notification.
How to fix the issue
Make sure that there are no domain restrictions on the Airtable account level to successfully import Airtable shared view data with Coupler.io:
1. Access to the view you're importing is restricted to a domain.
Please make sure that the restriction is off - you need to choose the exact view you want to share, click the "Share View" button, and switch the “Restrict access to an email domain”toggle to off.
2. Additional restrictions are set up on your Airtable account level.
Your enterprise account can have additional email domain restrictions enabled - in this case, you will see the corresponding notification right after the "Restrict access to an email domain" toggle.
With sharing restricted to some domain on the account level, you will be not able to import data from any Airtable view stored on this account.
To allow data importing, please contact your domain administrator.
Here is the guide provided by Airtable for this case: Managing account-wide security settings.
